Ich suche für ein altes Noname-Notebook ein passendes Biosupdate. Die Daten des Bios sind:
"PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0
Copyright 1985-1998 Phoenix Technologies Ltd.
All Rights Reserved
Notebook Computer Model 665 Version 1.00.1.01"
Sisoft Sandra gibt als Mainboard-Hersteller "intel" an.
Wo kann ich ein passendes Bios downloaden? Ich brauche es unbedingt, da das neu eingebaute Combo-Laufwerk nicht erkannt wird.

registrieren brauchst Du Dich nicht, bitte gebe aber mindestens einen Namen an, damit man weiß wie man Dich ansprechen kann! 
So ist es doch ein bisschen sehr unpersönlich. 
Also es ist so, nicht jedes Bios lässt sich updaten! Vor allem bei älteren Geräten ist das oft nur durch den Austausch des Bios selbst möglich!

Sorry wegen dem fehlende Namen vorhin. 
Das Bios lässt sich meiner Information nach flashen. Ich suche nur dem richtigen Update. hier noch ein paar Daten:
Im Manual hab ich folgendes zum Bios gefunden:
„Phoenix (256 kb Flash Rom, PnP 1.0a, APM 1.2, LBA) “
Auf dem Motherboard hab ich einen Aufkleber mit folgendem gefunden:
„PhoenixBIOS Pentium II 440BX + ACPI Phoenix 1997 A478120“
Zum Motherboard hab ich einen Chip mit folgenden Aufdruck gefunden:
Intel
PCIset
FW82371EB
L8331241
SL2MY
Intel 96
Wer weiß wo ich es finde? Danke.
andere Frage, warum willst du unbedingt dein BIOS überschreiben?

I also have a Model 665 laptop.
I have a 1.00.1.01 BIOS too.
I'm running Win98SE & need a driver for sound.
Do you have a sound driver?
Also looking for the Graphics driver... which I think is an ATI 3D Rage LT Pro AGP 8Mb... but I'll probably find that one.
I'll send you a BIOS if I find one in my search.
